Making A Great Impact from Seemingly Small Things
Everything in life shouldn’t be taken for granted, even with what we think are trivial things, since they are all flowing into our life stream for a purpose. These are what we thought are trivial situations, but actually have already impacted on us whether favorably or not.
Sleep is a natural body function which is performed every night, because part of the brain has to renew its mind pathways and process whatever information that has been input that day. When you don’t get the right amount of sleep, which is taken as eight hours straight rest, the brain reacts to the insufficiency and alters its naturally designed function and which may effect, consequently, drastic physical changes in our body. The brain happens to be the mastermind where all body functions coordinate to and perform, so that not having enough sleep can cut short the normal brain function, which in turn will affect the rest of the body performances, such as muscle growth, tissue repairs, and hormone balance synthesis.
Benefits of Personal Hygiene
Good health is a product of many factors and one aspect of which is derived from having good personal hygiene, which refers to a daily task of washing the hands when using the toilet or making/eating food, or handling pets/animals, plants, taking a bath daily, brushing the teeth 2-3 times every day including flossing. The effect of good personal hygiene is priceless as it helps in maintaining good health for our body by way of making our body clean always, thus preventing illness and infection coming from bacteria or viruses.
Stress is a mind thing, your body’s way of responding to pressure which is caused by both good and bad experiences. What’s going on in their bodies when people are experiencing stress is that they get these after effect symptoms: fast heartbeat and breathing, headache, back pain, stiff neck or tight shoulders, sweating, and upset stomach or diarrhea. Over time, when stress is not properly handled will eventually affect most of the body parts and can go as far as developing panic attack to some. By getting enough sleep, exercise, managing time for work and yourself, making a balance in life, finding your purpose in life, and adopting a healthy lifestyle, you will not only lengthen your life but, more importantly, you are able to avoid a stressful life.
Water’s Wondrous Ways
All living things and creatures are dependent on water to survive. The body uses water to help regulate the temperature of the cells, organs, tissues and to maintain other bodily functions. Drinking about 2-3 liters of water every day can help with the heart condition and maintain a balanced and healthy body. When the body is dehydrated, blood tends to thicken, therefore, causing a resistance to flow, resulting in high blood pressure and a rise in blood cholesterol.
Worth of Air
Oxygen is vital to the body’s normal function to burn sugars and fatty acids for the cells to be energized. There is a cycle process going about when we get oxygen from the air we breathe in and releasing carbon dioxide, at the same time, which is a compound found also in the air and which is an important compound for plant photosynthesis. Therefore, life cannot continue without air.
